The locally smoked trout on Potato Rosti is exceptional. Slightly smoky rich flavours knocked into hyperspace by the baby capers, avocado, greens and dill aoili. Absolutely superb. Wow again at end of meal. Trout not oversmoked. Perfect balance.
The attitude here sucks! Have previously gone there multiple times each Xmas holidays cause the food is pretty good. This year despite being recognised as a regular customer, the attitude we received when asking questions about food and alternative options due to allergies was pathetic. We were made to feel like we were an intrusion and decided to get up and leave. Spent our $200 at No5 instead and had excellent and friendly service. New regular Cafe found.Interestingly it was easy to get a table at this place but almost impossible at other cafes.
Great for kids, lovely feel about the restaurant. The chef was lovely and made the most amazing fresh food. I would definitely recommend.
Amazing food and coffee, the trout is an easy favourite. Great atmosphere
Potentially a nice cafe but was struggling during holiday time. Would have been helpful if we knew the wait on food was over an hour. It was very tasty when it arrived though and coffee was good. $17 for one piece of toast in the bruschetta dish was also a bit steep. Usually youd expect 2 pieces for that price.
