What a wonderful stay. Snuck away for a 3 night getaway and must say we left most refreshed. Stayed in cottage 1 overlooking the river, the cottage was simplistic yet covered all the basics. Very comfortable bed, great water pressure, full cooking facilities with ample cookware and plates, small bar fridge. Air conditioned living area with ceiling fans in bedroom and lounge area. The cottages are 3km by car to the town centre or you can use the kayaks provided to paddle in. Probably not for those "precious " people that don't like the farm life and the insects and mooing cows that come with it but then that is part of the beauty of this place. A special thank you to Marg for taking the time to stop for a chat and provide some useful advice on things to do. Highly recommend.
Very tidy cabins
The place was well located in natural environment. Our family enjoyed the Kayak along the river very much.
Marg and her family are are absolutely amazing. They are kind, friendly and helpful. The location on the river is stunning and the cabin accomodation was exceptional. A great family or couple holiday destination. Close to the best local swimming holes and the town itself We cannot recommend it enough and will definitely be back
A beautiful location with a stunning outlook. The hosts & their are dog are lovely, warm & welcoming. We stayed in Cottage 2 for our anniversary & it was perfect, really tastefully done with everything thought of for what you may need whilst staying. Close to town, but just on the edge for nice green space around you & green views. I highly recommend this as somewhere to stay, with a its great price, location & being a very comfortable space.
